Powers boasts an interesting world, beautiful artwork and a really clever approach to telling stories. The use of panels was striking - slow reveals, characters moving only the tiniest of fractions and the framing of news reports were all achieved through very clever methods. The fourth star was lost for me because the central mystery didn't grab me, but I'm keen to read more.
