Let me just tell you this opens on an emotional note and from there I was locked in. Colby and Lydia's story is heartbreaking. A firefighter and physical therapist who have love at first sight. Just a tad too strong for me, but I loved them all the same. The logistics of patient and caregiver get in the way so a hold is put on them getting together. Kinda. Haha. I love the angst this built. The tension was definitely boiling over. They had to navigate insecurities, but they did that so well together.
Lydia's kids were so dang awesome. I loved the details we got about them. As well as Colbys family. Which makes me MOST DEFINITELY want to continue this series!
The audio was fantastic. The narrators embodied this story and every emotion that came along the way. Most certainly recommend picking this one up.
