A Touch of Crimson by Samantha Henig, Sylvia Day
3.0
Two things attracted me to this book, firstly the cover, it is stunningly beautiful. Secondly having adored the Bared to You series. Her writing style is fluid and very easy to follow. I have never read anything by her before or that I recall with a paranormal tag. Whilst I did enjoy it, and the characters and world she has created is spellbinding, I couldn't help having a niggling feeling that I had read this book before or something very similar.....having looked back through books I have read this year, I realised it reminded of a little too much of 'The Guild Hunters' by Nalini Singh.
I am not sure I am enthralled enough to read the next book in the series but I did enjoy the chemistry between Adrian and Lindsay, Sylvia Day definitely does romance very well.
