I initially read this because the premise was interesting and it was marketed as LGBTQ+ and I wanted to try something different. I think this is the first book I've ever read without some form of romance / romantic subplot. It was pretty good. Will was an interesting MC, the side characters were likable, and the ending had me quite surprised.

I know we're getting some gay loving in the next book and I can't wait.
