It was incredibly fast-paced, almost too fast for the size of the book. She made a terrible mistake, but dang, the people of Ithicana are committed to their rage (understandable but dang). The relationship development between Lara and Aren didn't progress well, it definitely took a back seat, the endless problems, and almost dying scenes. I loved the parts with Lara's sisters and the development of Lara. I never say this but the book should have either been longer or a third with their story to expand and development the relationship between Lara, Aren and Ithicana. But overall, I really enjoyed the storyline.
