How to Prevent the Next Pandemic by Bill Gates

5.0

Pretty good summary of several aspects of COVID pandemic to demonstrate points of failures and rationale for improvement. As a microbiologist who lived through this, it's a not as informative, but serves as a good entry for those who didn't hear me rant over the past few years.

This book certainly isn't perfect (there are a few points that irk me because they're not precise or come off as misleading / not completely correct), but it will serve well.

PS: I was surprised the audiobook recording had Bill Gates reading the preface / prologue (~9% of the book), then Wil Wheaton took over. He continued for the afterword and the glossary (last 5min of recording).
