Demon of the Deep by Briar Belmont
4.0
Enjoyable cosy pirate romance.
The summary might make it seem like the story revolves around one couple. I would say that it starts off with Yves and Rowan. We get introduced to 4 pairings total between the two crews. There's smut in almost every chapter, and while I didn't mind that, I do feel like we didn't get enough of the couples for me to really care about them. This is unfortunate. I like spending time getting to know characters and seeing their relationship development, and I'd preferred it if the story had focused on one or two couples.
I did enjoy the story as a whole. The vibes are laid back, and the characters are very sympathetic and have interesting backgrounds. I give this story four stars because I had fun, and I like the writing style of the author.
