I have read and loved all the books in the Click series as well as its spin-off series Besties and this latest installment is no different! Olive and Willow are back at summer camp reuniting with their camp friends as well as bringing Nat (a school friend) along with them for the first time. Nat is the only new camper this year and she only knows Olive, Willow, and Bree. This changes the dynamic greatly from the last time the pair went to summer camp in book 2 - Camp. While at camp, Olive’s two best camp friends - Bree and Max get in a fight and Oliver doesn't know why and tries her best to be a friend to both even though they are avoiding each other. Throughout the book, Olive learns that just because Bree and Max are her friends it doesn’t mean their fight is her business or her place to fix it.

Another main theme in Stuck is natural conservation as the group makes a project proposal for a grant gifted to the camp. They propose a garden for future campers to tend to. Throughout they also create a compost bin, discuss the importance of recycling, pick up litter, and create bug and bat houses (from recycled materials).

This is definitely one of my favorites of the series as I feel a lot of lessons were taught and a lot happens but it's perfectly balanced and never feels like too much is happening.
