Borders by Thomas King

6/10, The art was good, but everything else about the novel was mediocre, almost pathetic even. The characters weren't that well fleshed out and did not experience any character development at all. The story didn't impact me that much at all, it was just a family crossing the border, they were denied at first, but succeeded eventually, and that was it, nothing else. Honestly, this graphic novel felt very underwhelming, but if you want a better graphic novel, try The Tryout, it's a much better graphic novel, it's more impactful and even has flawed, but developed characters.
