Really enjoyed the characters of this story. Even thought we were in Claire’s point of view and mind we still got to know a lot of the character and their stories through her. She is very observant and smart along with just gutsy enough to speak up. Jamie was a wonderful character that went through hard situations and violence but his love for Claire is what kept him alive. I felt like the pacing of the book was good until Lallybroch and a little after it. But the ending picked up well and had so many heartfelt moments I embraced. 

Going to continue to the next book!
