This was a good read and another great story from T M Logan! Lots of twisty weird stuff going on and paranoia kicking in.
My only problem was the main characters and they were only small niggles really but keeping secrets from your spouse is just... Urgh, so wrong. It doesn't matter how well intentioned your actions might be, just don't do it!
Plus why is the wife making unilateral decisions about hiring people and spending money? It may well have been discussed as a good idea months ago but who doesn't check in about it before actually doing it, in case situations or thoughts have changed? Crazy.
And the silent treatment? For like a whole day or more? Seriously? Come on, your adults, with children of your own, grow up. Plusone minute the wife is telling the husband not to trust anyone, the next she's calling him paranoid and arguing with him for being weary about the total strangers she gave a key to their house to .
BUT having said all that, it was overall a great book and I've definitely read books with waaaaay worse characters than this.
