Dooku: Jedi Lost
by Cavan Scott
The audio book is what made this 4 stars for me. Very compelling voice acting and all the music and sound effects really helped to immerse you into the story. It was very interesting to see how Dooku turned to the darkside, along with us also seeing Ventress embrace the darkside fully as we uncovered Dooku's past. Dooku may have been the main character here, but it's interesting to see characters like Yoda and Qui-Gon and see how there past actions have influenced the characters we know and love from the films. I especially loved seeing how Yoda's teachings came across as patronizing, and how that helped build the frustration in Dooku that eventually had him leaving the Jedi Order. I am also excited to see Qui-Gon's internal monologue on being a master and taking an apprentice after his own Master turned his back on the light side.
