To be honest I'm getting very picky with the fantasy romance books I read and this book just wasn't for me. Nothing was inherently bad, I just wasn't vibing with it. The start was intriguing but ultimately the plot was moving too slow for me. I also just wasn't invested in Freya and Bjorn and so I didn't care about their romance. I thought the Norse-inspired setting was well done and immersive so if you're a fantasy romance fan and are looking for a story with a more unique setting than some of the other stories in this subgenre this will likely work well for you.
I also did enjoy Danielle L. Jensen's writing style from the bit that I read so I am interesting in trying The Bridge Kingdom series which I think will work better for me personally.
