What a fascinating book!
The recommendation of a person I admire wholeheartedly,
the voting-choice of my bookclub,
and the final purchase of "Lessons in Chemistry" in the bookstore of my beloved friend
make this a deeply personal read for me.
I'm positively surprised that my "high expecations" (as if I'm in the position to have them...) were surpassed with ease and metaphorically speaking: I inhaled this book.
CLEVER, AMUSING (excellent dry humour), LOVEABLE CHARACTERS! (but also many assholes)
