Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness

Did not finish book. Stopped at 43%.

I can’t. I just can’t anymore. I usually like Ness’ books (except Burn), but I was never that much into this series and the third book is just so freaking long! Why does this need to be 600 bloody pages?! Hell, Red Rising was all about war and it was still more interesting than this never-ending fight between the Mayor and Mistress Coyle.

I don’t get the hype at all. I wanted to at least be able to say I finished the series, but I’m not even halfway through and I’m falling asleep on it because I find it so dull.
