Angel was seduced by drugs and eventually forced into prostitution. After her pimp wants her to turn out a younger girl, and a former fellow prostitute disappears, Angel begins questioning her life.
This book is told in verse. The voice of the narrator is almost at the level of a five year old...though she is a teen. I think that the concept wasn't as fully explored as it could have been, especially because of the narrator and the verse.
