Revisiting this series after so many years since I last read it. The trauma Katniss and Peeta go through in this book is just as painful, if not more now knowing how young they are. Seeing the bigger picture of Panem and what is really going on outside of District 12 opens up this world. The Quarter Quell announcement broke my heart just like it did the first time I read this. Watching Peeta and Katniss trying to sacrifice for each other is heartbreaking all over again.
