This book felt like a big hug (or perhaps, the perfect cup of tea) and I will absolutely be re-reading this whenever I need a reminder that I am enough just by being myself.

A Psalm for the Wild-Built follows Dex, a tea monk, as they journey through Panga and eventually meet Moscap, a robot, who wants to know the answer to the question of what people need.

The amount of depth in the characters and the world is incredible, especially given the length of the novel. Panga, Dex, and Moscap all feel wonderfully real. I also listened to this as an audiobook and the narrator, Em Grosland, did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. If the premise even remotely piques your interest, pick this up and read it immediately.
