This was an amazing read! I cried, I laughed, I empathized, I was pissed off, like this was a well written emotional rollercoaster. I highly recommend this read but with warning that there are quite a bit of triggering points throughout this story.
I absolutely loved the ending and felt like the horror and trauma was all worth it. The message was beautiful expressed about the shitty nature of racism and “reform” in our society when it comes to black and brown bodies. This is a story that will stay with me and I absolutely will be adding it to my bookshelf!
