I felt the focus on the almost therapy-esque problems of the characters was frustrating. The FMC dumped the MMC for what felt to me to be odd reasons. She didn’t ask him to get it together - she just said she couldn’t be with him how he was. This then motivated him to go to therapy and they got back together. But I don’t feel his issues were anywhere near severe enough to warrant this attitude so it was weird to me. This felt like the kind of thing you work on IN the relationship not a reason to end it.
