An engaging, thought-provoking story that balances emotion, plot, and worldbuilding masterfully, as well as a brilliant exploration of third-culture-ness--this goes on my must-read list for TCKs. The lack of background information to go along with the intensity of new technology and politics is sometimes frustrating, but also catches the reader in some of the encounter with new cultures that Binti experiences throughout the series. Overall I would highly recommend the series.
