A Dark Lure
by Loreth Anne White
Setting: Canada
Rep: n/a
This mostly gets marks for its atmosphere - I enjoyed the setting and I felt we got to know the characters quite well; it's definitely more character driven than plot driven. The plot is the weakest part, mostly because there are three "twists" but they are all extremely obvious from the very start, so it was a bit disappointing that it was so long before they were officially revealed. I kept expecting there to be more twists and turns, but it's a very straight-forward thriller.
