Perhaps the best piece of writing I've read in a while. Lyrical, raw, emotional, almost intrusive. I love how erratic the narration is, with dramatic shifts from third person to first. It mirrored the mental state of our characters, especially Regan's unreliability as a narrator. Though both characters are flawed, they are very much human. 

I could say a lot more, but it's already 4AM.
