Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World
by Ashley Herring Blake
It’s not a good book if it doesn’t make you messy cry at 2 am reading, right? This is a good book. It’s painful in all the ways being twelve is painful, earnest in Ivy’s pursuit of friendship and love, and as lovely as a group hug. This is a book about identity in modern times. Hooray representation and hooray for Ivy!
