The Goal by Elle Kennedy

4.5

I wasn’t sure how I felt about the young pregnancy but I ended up loving the book. It portrays the hardships of a working mother and the awkward, “are we just coparent friends or lovers” dilemma of a causal hookup-turned-pregnancy. I appreciated how they had to overcome Mrs. Tuckers harsh words because it felt more genuine than if everyone accepted the pregnancy and everything was easy.
