Traveling Light by Lynne Branard

5.0

I picked up this book in the book store because the title looked interesting, the premise sounded promising (Alissa buys a storage locker at an auction and discovers the ashes of a man and the name of the funeral home and decides to return them to New Mexico from North Carolina) and when I flipped through it I found an intriguing sentence ("So, I hear you were arrested in Little Rock). I was hooked. I had to buy it.
It's full of adventures from North Carolina to New Mexico and she meets some unusual people and makes some odd decisions, but apparently pretty much enjoys herself on the trip. There's a few times she wonders, especially since she can't find any family for Roger Hart's ashes, but she takes care of that. She learns a lot about herself.
