Loreth Anne White proves again why she is a crime-mystery author to whom I return again and again. The Unquiet Bones is a multiple POV cold case mystery that is packed with revelations and doesn't slow down until the end.
The number of POVs might seem a bit jarring (over nine that I can recall) but it sounds more chaotic than it is. The different POVs are mostly from a group of friends and the lead investigator Jane, so it just allows the story to be fast paced and every POV picks up from where the previous one left off. If you enjoy filler chapters or breaks this mystery isn't for you!
I enjoyed the story and the implications a cold case can have decades later.
