I loved this book! Admittedly, I'd love listening to Richard Armitage read a phonebook. He's the reason I purchased the audiobook. Oh my sweet heavenly stars, his voice was sublime. More importantly, the story hooked me from the start. An American moves to Paris for work and falls in love with her translator. The translator is learning how to live after a devastating family loss. ALL THE FEELS with this one. I laughed out loud and swooned all over the place with this book.

I'm still learning to listen to audiobooks and generally find myself having to go back and listen when my mind has wandered. I'm happy to report that didn't happen with this book. I was so engrossed I didn't want to get out of my car after dropping my kid off at school. I literally sat in my car in my pj's, drinking my coffee, while I listened to this book. It was that good! I didn't want to stop unless I HAD to.
