Ahhhhhhh I just could not put this book down! I literally got through it in two sittings 😅
I’m absolutely obsessed with these characters. Poppy is amazing and makes this series for me. I love seeing things from her perspective because she is all the things Cas says she is (brave, violent, intriguing) but she’s also actually super relatable. Well, as relatable as a chosen-by-the-gods gal in a fantasy world can be. Her inner monologue has me laughing out loud and the intrusive thoughts are just so deliciously real.
As for HRH mr Da’Neer? Raw, next question.
I am smitten with Kieran and love the dynamic between him, Poppy and Casteel
There were some mfs I didn’t trust from the second I met them and I am glad I’m not just getting paranoid hahaha
Obsessed with this, already started book three and fear this will become my new personality.
