It’s been awhile since I’ve done a public review here. So bear with me as I attempt to put my thoughts into words.

I picked this up thinking it’ll be a quick Contemp. Lit read but it didn’t feel quick at all despite the slimness of this novel. And I’m unsure if it is the translation that lead my reading experience to be bad or?? I did not enjoy it. Whilst the stories focus a lot on loneliness, desire and human connection, it wasn’t a captivating read. I got bored :”)
