Tuck and Emily are childhood friends, but when tragedy strikes, everything in Tuck's life changes, and he finds himself falling on hard times.
Years passed, and Tuck, and ex con, now finds himself in need of a job.
Emily's career as a singer has taken off, and now, she and her actor Boyfriend are in need of security protection. Queue in Tuck. But will Tuck come through when society collapses before their very eyes? Will he save the day, or will they all die trying to survive?
I really enjoyed this book. It has feels of the Notebook meets The Walking Dead [minus the zombies].
I did find Emily's character a little annoying. She makes a lot of stupid calls, but the overall story was really enthralling!
4 stars 🌟
