I don't know that I necessarily enjoyed some of the pivots that happened (pacing was a bit off) or all the characters, but I think the story itself had a lot of depth. There was some eerieness and foreboding that was creeping in but I think if I had some visuals to reference or were familiar with the referenced villains than it would probably have engaged me more and spooked me.
