The F*ck It Diet: Eating Should Be Easy by Caroline Dooner

hopeful inspiring reflective

3.0

The F*ck It Diet by Caroline Dooner really resonated with me. As someone who has struggled with dieting and witnessed many women in my life do the same, the book helps highlight the shift toward body positivity. It promotes accepting your natural weight and embracing food without guilt, challenging harmful diet culture beliefs. While the book is a good starting point for understanding diet culture and body acceptance, it does not fully address the challenges faced by fat individuals. As for Caroline's writing style it was engaging but I did find the book to be repetitive. I would have also appreciated more in-text citations to enhance the studies mentioned throughout the book. Overall, The F*ck It Diet offers valuable insights for healing our relationship with food and our bodies.
