The covers for this series are top-tier. I think that's one of the reasons why I picked up the first book and it is the reason I picked up the second. The story was really cute, but I couldn’t get it out of my head that she’s a curvy Taylor Swift (even though Taylor Swift is mentioned in the book).
I also dislike books where there is music involved and there are lyrics that are kind of bad and I can’t see how it fits with music (but that is a me thing, do you).
I loved Declan, but he was a major mother hen. I understood that he was worried about her, but it stopped being romantic to me when he would constantly tell her she needed rest. Good advice, of course…but it bordered nagging. However, a burnt cinnamon roll is a good description of what he is and I loved it.
