There's something so nauseating about a male author writing a female character where he clearly displays how little he knows or understands women. There's a lot of undertones of sexism in the series. There's literally a quote about a woman that says "she's so career driven I can't imagine her as a mother" cuz obviously you can't be both. Also apparently 5'6 and 135 lbs is overweight? Fuck off. The stories are about as much as you'd expect from free kindle unlimited books and I feel the need to finish the series,  but it's hard to get through the sexism.
