I read about half of this and decided I didn’t want to make myself finish it. It’s a very contradictory and somewhat unrealistic story of abuse in my opinion. I am certainly not trying to be one of those people who’s a big moralist about media but I think we should leave content like this to survivors who bravely share their experiences as opposed to sensationalist and melodramatic fiction. Yes I think it’s possible to be exploitive towards characters because I feel like it inadvertently exploits real victims of abuse. But then again maybe I’m just a little too sensitive lol
