I will say right off the bat that this book is rather on the slow-paced side (think 'Wicked Deep'), but there was something about it that really hooked me in right away...I blame the sirens.
I think there was great world building with this book and I was definitely interested with the town and history of characters.
But while I enjoyed this read, I can definitely understand others thinking "nothing happens" in this type of read. Just something to keep in mind before reading.
I will say that the audio book is really good and I highly recommend the narrator!
