This was going to be a 5-star read for me, but I was underwhelmed by the ending. It isn't that the ending is bad, and I liked how it ended, it was more that something was missing and a few things were left unanswered. I'm guessing this was the aim, but I'd have preferred to have had some sort of closure regarding Luke and Flavia and I also feel like the thing that happened with the two dogs near the end and what happened to Greta during this kind of didn't have a point in the plot.
Apart from this, I was really hooked the entire way through. I found Greta's character to be unique yet realistic and loved her and Sabine's relationship. I think it is a really unique and weird (in a good way) novel that expresses the nuances that relationships have for everyone.
