So, I rated this after I read it but decided to wait until I was finished with the series to write up a review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my favorite of the series, which isn't saying much since I've rated it as a 3. I did listen to this on Audible Plus. It took me a bit to get used to the male narrator's voice. But once I did, he was pretty good. Especially if you compare him to the next two male narrators. Spoiler alert: They're AWFUL.

Echo has been nursing a broken heart. Essentially he was in a toxic relationship with a woman he thought he loved. But she left him, for his twin brother.

Storm also suffered a broken heart. She picked up her life and started completely anew after catching her boyfriend cheating on her. The reason I liked Storm as a female MC out of all 4 books is because she is ambitious. She's a successful business woman and doesn't take crap from anyone. She's no pushover.

My biggest problem with this series is the lack of character development. Perhaps I liked this one the most because it had the closest thing to character development. Even so, I felt like Echo had way too many unresolved issues. He needs a therapist. Yet again, I can't really tell WHY the mMC has fallen madly in love with the fMC. For as many women these mMCs hook up with, I can't really tell what makes the fMCs special. Also, this series has some real yoonique names. Creed. Elecia (Alisha). Echo (I've never met someone named Echo). Storm (like X-men Storm?). Falcon. Ariel (ok not necessarily uncommon). Darby. Olympia.

Anyways. It's not a horrible book to listen to while commuting or doing dishes or cooking dinner lol.
