This was fun! Felt like a mix of cozy mystery and a thriller. Lovely setting, trapped in a mansion during a snow storm and then the bodies starts dropping.
I do have a few questions, like how come all of these people that don’t like each other decided to not only be in a book club together but going away on a trip?
It is a little overwritten and all the characters are pretty terrible but it worked for me (I had it as an audiobook).
Due to how it was written I was getting a vibe from a certain Agatha Christie novel and I was expecting a different ending but I was happily wrong. Feels like there were plenty of holes surrounding the MC which felt a little off but I will give the second book a read.
