The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams

Oh my God! I haven’t felt the warm fuzzies the way I did with this book in forever! I’m not one to give out five stars willy-nilly, but this story seriously deserved it.
The way this book is written, beautifully “shows not tells” how Bree and Nathan feel about each other. I mean, they tell it too, it’s painfully obvious to everyone but them actually, but in a good way.
Just by reading the description, you might think this book is made up of the most annoying tropes. To be honest, it is, but it’s written in a way that’s enjoyable and not like any other book that’s done it.
Nathan’s POV’s were my favorite. The way he describes Bree and makes it clear he’s in it for the long game, not just sex, was so refreshing. THIS is what love is supposed to be. THIS is what should be the book other books look up to. No Alpha male. No owning. No red flags. Nathan is everything a healthy love interest should be.
The only parts I didn’t like about this part were when the girls who would flirt with Nathan in front of Bree were the stereotypical slut-shamed, caked on make up, boobs spilling out of her top kind of girls. There were only two or three, but I’m just tired of woman who like their body being written as the bad guys.
All in all, I absolutely loved this book! I can’t wait to read it again in a few months after I’ve acquired a physical copy to display on my shelf. :)
