This was recommended to me by my local comic book store. There is something about steampunk that ticks my intrigue box and so i thought id give it a try. There is just the right amount of angst and kickassery to keep me interested.
"12 strange children were born in england at the exact same moment" - the synopsis made this feel like it was going to be similar to the Umbrella Academy, but it definitely isn't and it is a much more exciting plot in my opinion - maybe because it is after the end of the world and about survival.
You get a brief introduction to each of the personalities but there is so much to unearth beneath that and i look forward to getting deeper into the story with the other volumes!
