This book was genuinely so insane and I think we have a toxic relationship. Samantha's voice in the first half of the book is so pretentious and the way she tries to set herself apart from the bunnies pretentious writing is amusing because she's not far from that critique as well. This book explores what it means to be truly lonely, what it means to have class and privilege, female friendships and their horrors. Upon reading the second half of the book, you begin to realize why Samantha's voice was set up the way it was and how it changes. It really messes with your mind in the best way. This book creeped me the fuck out, but knowing all that I know now, I am definitely going to read this again and see all that I missed. Thank you Mona Awad for this mindfuck of a book.
