this novella felt very different from sorcery of thorns, i’m a bit discontent?
i absolutely adore the world of sot… imagine my surprise when the characters and plot in the novella made no sense. the lack of continuity really threw me off, nathaniel especially felt like he only appeared when convenient. his mannerisms completely changed over the span of the novella which was disappointing.
i knew this novella was fan service so the plot never mattered to me. i wish there was more behind the ending instead of the “angered manor” plot.
anyway, despite my scrutinized rants, i still very much enjoyed this novella. i am sad that this series couldn’t have been a duology but i appreciate whatever content is available.
