Smoke and Mirrors: Short Fictions and Illusions
by Neil Gaiman
I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as I enjoyed Fragile Things (another of Gaiman's short story collections). Not quite as many intriguing ideas. I'll definitely try Trigger Warning, but I'm prepared for Fragile Things to be my favorite short story collection of his, cause it definitely isn't this.
A few of my favorites were The Goldfish Pool and Other Stories, Bay Wolf, We Can Get Them For You Wholesale, and Murder Mysteries.
Damn, though I wish he stuck with the original title 'City of Angels' for that last one (it took place present day in Los Angeles, but the meat of the story was a detective story set in a pre-universe biblical city of angels and god).
