I’m not much of a fan of the enemies to lovers trope; it stresses me out when the MCs don’t get along. I also don’t care much for

betrayal

. With that being said, I didn’t really get super into the book until

after Lizzie tells Isaac the truth while they’re in the Alps

. After that, I was all in. 

The book was enjoyable and the MMC was properly obsessed.

The proposal was also very cute
