After Where We Belong left me down so hard, I was desperate for this book to be good. Thankfully, it delivered. These two have had feelings for each other since high school but never acted on them—and then it was too late when she got pregnant with the VP's baby.
But Jamie isn't going to let her go again, and a fake marriage is the perfect excuse! He's the quintessential protective and possessive book boyfriend with several iconic scenes, including the quote above and the SPICE, good lord 😮💨. My earbuds nearly melted!
The existing crew was a strong presence, and I loved the ending (well, except for the sneak peek at book four 👀). Bring it on!
