djbookworm11 's review for:
The Russian Concubine
by Kate Furnivall
I loved the characters, the action, the love story, the setting - I also loved all the twists and turns and the many characters' perspectives.
Warning for the squeamish: There are some pretty graphic torture scenes. Beware!
The only complaint I have is the title - nobody in this book was a Russian concubine. I'm unsure why the author chose that title because it describes no one in the book. She could have picked a better, more descriptive title. Other than that, a fantastic read! I plan on reading the prequel and sequel.
