Ok this book is just beautiful. The writing is gorgeous I’m in love with this heart-aching story. I love Patroclus and Achilles. Slight warning not for the faint of heart, I ugly cried the ending is just, I can barely put it to words. I have always loved the concept and stories of Greek mythology and to find this book also being a such an immaculate love story along with it. Exploring love, companionship, beauty, what their wars were like, the mix of Gods and the importance of honour and fame was to all in this era. This book made me laugh, shriek, cry, and super pissed but also adore it. Such a roller coaster ride. I loved it so much and definitely recommend.
