Like the concept of the After-Room, but it was overdone, and there wasn't a strong conclusion with that thread. Plot holes exist in this tale

I really liked the characters of Doyle and Ned. Overall, the series receives 3 stars - worth a read, not a keeper for my library shelves. This series should be a fun read for the targeted junior high age range.
